Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darnell Olson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amoux Bergeois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darnell Olson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Amoux Bergeois!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergeois doesn't manage to clinch there - Olson circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Olson. Those never looked like landing.

Bergeois looking to score a takedown here. Olson is defending well but Bergeois drives through and ends up in Olson's guard.
Bergeois working some strikes from top position.
Olson wants to sweep here but Bergeois controlling him for the moment.
Olson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bergeois slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Olson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Olson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bergeois controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Bergeois seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bergeois is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Olson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Olson has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Olson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Olson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Bergeois is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bergeois is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bergeois thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Olson wants to get back to full guard.
Bergeois is trying to control the action in half guard but Olson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Olson is pressing down on Bergeois's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Bergeois trying to control the position from guard on top but Olson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bergeois engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Bergeois drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Olson dives on top into guard.

Bergeois is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Olson defends well.
Bergeois looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Olson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Bergeois stands up out of Olson's guard for a moment - Olson manages to land a nice upkick.
Bergeois is stalling in the full guard.
Bergeois wants to control from the top but Olson keeps moving.

Bergeois stands and steps away. Olson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bergeois shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Bergeois escapes and gets back to his feet.

Olson feints and then cracks Bergeois's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bergeois down.

Bergeois bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bergeois working the strikes but Olson uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Olson lands a couple of sideways elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bergeois slows the pace down in half guard.
Bergeois seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Olson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Olson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The fighters are battling for position here. Olson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bergeois wants to control from the top but Olson keeps moving.
Bergeois working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Olson's head.
Olson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Bergeois slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Olson.
Olson is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Bergeois jumps into side control!

Olson dodges the ground and pound from Bergeois.

Bergeois has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Darnell Olson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bergeois darts in and clinches Olson up against the cage.
Bergeois has Olson pressed against the cage.
Olson looking for a takedown.

Bergeois pulls Olson into guard.
Olson trying to control but Bergeois is working from the bottom.
Amoux Bergeois has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bergeois is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bergeois is still trying to improve position.

Amoux Bergeois showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Bergeois shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bergeois was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bergeois has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Olson!
Olson tries to hold on but Bergeois postures up.
Bergeois wants to control the action but instead Olson gets a body lock and reverses into Bergeois's guard! Nice work!

Bergeois is working an open guard so Olson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Bergeois instigates a clinch.

Bergeois ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bergeois no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bergeois looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Olson passes into side control.
Bergeois is trying to control Olson's posture but Olson avoids it.
Olson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bergeois sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Bergeois is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Olson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Olson throwing strikes but Bergeois manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Bergeois in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The ground and pound from Bergeois seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Bergeois wants to control but Olson is keeping him busy.

Bergeois wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Olson, who protects the arm well.

Olson parries the strikes from Bergeois easily there. Bergeois is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Olson to escape.
Olson tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bergeois tries to score with some ground and pound. Olson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Olson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bergeois.

Bergeois decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Olson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bergeois checks a low kick from Olson.
Bergeois tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Olson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bergeois looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Darnell Olson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Amoux Bergeois is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Bergeois takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Olson keeping moving, preventing Bergeois from controlling successfully.
