Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antony McNally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz has chosen Forever as his entrance music. Antony McNally could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael Cruz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antony McNally! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Cruz! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNally stuffs the takedown attempt from Cruz. Cruz gets slowly back to his feet. McNally tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cruz paws at him with a jab and circles away. McNally jabs at Cruz's body.
McNally takes the fight into the clinch. McNally digs a right hand underneath Cruz's ribcage. Cruz let out a lung full of air as it connected.
McNally manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. McNally wants to stand up but Cruz is controlling him.
McNally looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cruz has picked McNally up and slammed him! McNally can't keep hold of the triangle and Cruz manages to pass to side control! Cruz moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
McNally bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
 That's one minute gone in the round. McNally throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cruz shoots in for a takedown but McNally shows good takedown defense. McNally lands a head kick!
Cruz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cruz showed some decent athleticism there.
McNally makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Cruz looks gassed!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Good work by McNally as he checks the leg kick. McNally keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Antony McNally has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Cruz. Cruz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Cruz clinches but McNally breaks the clinch and McNally counters with a slapping leg kick.
Cruz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McNally tries to improve position but can't. Cruz tries to move into full mount but can't pass McNally's legs. McNally is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cruz's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cruz tries to pass the half guard into mount. McNally knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. McNally is trying to stand.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McNally is trying to stand up here but Cruz is controlling him well. McNally tries to get to full guard but Cruz has control of the leg.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cruz shoots and misses
and McNally counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Cruz stands up from McNally's guard - Cruz perhaps looking for a knockout. Michael Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McNally tries to bum rush Cruz with a series of wild strikes but Cruz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cruz lands a nice looking kick to the body. McNally takes a step back to recover. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

McNally looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cruz! Cruz is squirming around, avoiding McNally's attempts to control the action. McNally misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

 That's one minute gone in the round. McNally thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Cruz is trying desperately to improve position. You get the feeling that Cruz really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! You can see the frustration on Cruz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Antony McNally dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

McNally shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cruz's guard. McNally looking to sit in guard and control but Cruz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cruz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McNally looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cruz is one step ahead there. Cruz trying to control the position from guard on top but McNally is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cruz tries to free his leg and advance position but McNally is retaining full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McNally being controlled here, momentarily. Cruz throwing strikes but missing. McNally wants to sweep but no luck.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cruz tries for a takedown but McNally circles away easily and McNally counters with a good low kick that Cruz was not able to check. McNally scores with a three punch combo!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. McNally plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
McNally closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McNally decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cruz to his feet. McNally misses with a head kick.
Cruz with a poor takedown and McNally counters with a big head kick but Cruz shrugs it off. Cruz misses with a takedown and McNally counters with a two punch combo. Antony McNally has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Cruz.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. McNally is looking to get to half guard. Antony McNally overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lucky escape for McNally because Cruz loaded up on that one. Cruz thowing shots but they're missing. McNally is looking to get to half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McNally wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. McNally covers up after that shot from Cruz.
McNally looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Cruz is looking to control McNally but McNally is wriggling around and keeping busy. Good control from Cruz. Michael Cruz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Antony McNally is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cruz is trying to stick to McNally's back but McNally is turning into Cruz. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cruz's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by McNally.
And that's the end of the fight! Antony McNally showed his dominance in that final round. Well McNally has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
