Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Buster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and hi Low (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roy Buster has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roy Buster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, hi Low!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buster drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Low is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Buster decides to stand back up. Buster steps back and let's Low get back to his feet.
Low misses with a low kick.

Buster fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Low, pushing him back against the cage.
Low manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Buster is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Low to keep the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Low jumps guard but Buster stands there with Low around his waist. Low gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Buster jumps guard and drags Low to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Low is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Buster will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Low postures up.
Low wants to stand but Buster is controlling his posture from full guard.

Buster throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Low is standing up over Buster. Buster looks to escape but Low dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buster is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Low's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Buster slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Buster tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Buster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Low trying to control the position from guard on top but Buster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Buster is trying to control the position but Low postures up.
Buster lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Buster has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Buster throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Low works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Buster working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Low fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Buster, pushing him back against the cage.
Low tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Buster just stands there and leans against the cage.
Buster lands a body punch in the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Low is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Buster is defending well.
Roy Buster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of hi Low.
Low prevents a takedown attempt there.
Buster could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Buster wants the takedown. Low is fighting it off but Buster persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Low's guard against the cage.

Buster defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Low.
Buster fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Buster misses with a takedown attempt - Low sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Buster closes the distance and clinches up with Low, looking for a takedown. Buster pushes Low against the cage but Low circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Buster is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Low can do to turn this around?

Buster wants the takedown. Low is fighting it off but Buster persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Low's guard against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Buster jumps guard but Low stands there with Buster around his waist. Buster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Buster has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Low after a bit of a struggle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Buster shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Low manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Low takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Buster passes Low's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Buster wants to take a breather but Low is having none of it.
Low trying to hold on to Buster's head to control him but Buster postures up.
Buster performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Buster prevents Low from improving his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Buster connects with a nice short shot to Low's temple.

Buster seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Low does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Buster, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
