Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jacob Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Guerra! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerra throws a one two combo.
Guerra lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Frost slips a jab and a cross from Guerra.
Guerra scores with a jab to the head.
Frost is rocked! Jab, jab by Frost - just one landing. Oh Frost is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Jose Guerra has been cut. Frost displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Guerra throws out the jab. Frost seems to have got his legs back now. Guerra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Guerra should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Guerra lands a jab-cross combination. Guerra showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Frost.
Guerra walks into a stiff left hand from Frost. Frost misses with a straight left. Guerra misses with a few strikes there.
Guerra bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Frost's head backwards. A jab lands there for Guerra. Frost throws a looping overhand right but Guerra ducks down to avoid it. Frost misses with a hook
and Guerra counters with a series of strikes. Frost will be more careful next time no doubt. Guerra drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Frost right on the button. Frost goes down! Guerra follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Guerra gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Guerra!
