Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boris Artyom!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David connects with a looping right hand.
David throws a hook to the side of Artyom's head but Artyom sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
David throws an overhand right that lands on Artyom's shoulder, as Artyom tries to avoid the shot.
Artyom throws out a counter right but David avoids it with no problem.
A looping hook to the body misses from David. Artyom does a little dance to reset his feet.
Artyom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from David.
David really is a fat lump.
David misses with a telegraphed body shot
and David takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
David throws a combination that misses
and Artyom counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
David throws a big shot that misses.
Artyom bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
David throws a shot from downtown. Artyom moves away and avoids it.
Artyom fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
David swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Artyom counters with a nice uppercut.
David throws a lazy right hand but Artyom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Artyom showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from David.
David stalks Artyom and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Artyom's face. Artyom staggers backwards, shaken.

Artyom shoots in and gets a takedown into David's guard.
Artyom is in close to David's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Artyom lands a couple of elbows.

Artyom got a little sloppy there for a moment and David has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Artyom has managed to get both his arms back between David's legs - danger averted.
Artyom connects with a couple of short punches.
Artyom cracks David with a solid left hand.
Artyom keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of David's head.
Artyom chips away with some ground and pound.

David escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Artyom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Artyom keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of David's head.
Artyom is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Artyom postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

David has momentary wrist control but Artyom slips an elbow through the middle.
Oh David is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
David might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Artyom loads up on a big left hand. David felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Artyom looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! David can't hide his disappointment, as Artyom celebrates the victory.
