The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos dodges the punch combination from Davies.
Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Davies as he jumps to the side.
Davies lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santos circles away quickly and effectively.
Santos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Santos has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Davies is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Santos yanks on the arm and Davies is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Santos.
