The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Newsto counters with a single leg into guard. Stark didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Newsto passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Newsto advances to mount.
Newsto working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Stark turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Newsto off and cradles Stark's limp body as Newsto celebrates with his corner.
