Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Insane Yoda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Beattie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Insane Yoda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Beattie! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoda connects with a nice looking jab.
Beattie misses with a takedown attempt - Yoda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Beattie lands an overhand right.
It looks like Insane Yoda has been cut. Yoda gets in close and instigates a clinch. Yoda escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Beattie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yoda pinned against the cage. Yoda gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Yoda is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Beattie. Beattie avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beattie misses with a wild body shot. Yoda attempts a counter takedown but Beattie avoids it well and moves away. Yoda avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Beattie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yoda's waist but Yoda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beattie off to one side. Insane Yoda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Beattie. Horrible takedown attempt by Yoda or perhaps it was just good defense by Beattie, which made it look bad. Some wild striking there from Yoda.
Beattie throws a body punch but Yoda moves out of range. Beattie has a takedown stuffed. Beattie looks winded! Yoda gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Beattie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yoda gets control of Beattie's arms and successfully pulls guard. Yoda will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Beattie passes Yoda's left leg - he's now in half guard. Yoda throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yoda desperately trying to maintain half guard. Yoda slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Yoda is pulling down on Beattie's head. It's preventing any offense from Beattie, at least for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yoda manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Yoda is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Yoda is pressed up against the cage. Beattie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Yoda down to the mat. Yoda avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Beattie leaves Yoda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yoda is defended easily by Beattie. Beattie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yoda sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beattie somewhat. Beattie slips under a jab. Yoda slaps away a takedown attempt from Beattie, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nice sprawl there from Beattie as Yoda shoots in. Yoda shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yoda showed some decent athleticism there. Beattie tries to kick Yoda off in order to stand up. Yoda Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beattie trying his best to control but Yoda has mounted him. Beattie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Yoda content just to control the position here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Beattie can't escape the position.

Insane Yoda dominated that round. The cut man is working on Insane Yoda's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Yoda shoots in for a takedown but Beattie shows good takedown defense. Beattie staying out of range there. Beattie looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Beattie lands a jab to the head.
Beattie drops his shoulder and cracks Yoda with a huge uppercut! Yoda goes down! Can Beattie finish him?
Yoda is rocked! Yoda trying to control the position.
Oh Yoda is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Beattie preventing the sweep. Beattie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Yoda seems to have got his legs back now. Beattie has gone for a leg lock! Yoda slips out almost immediately though and dives into Beattie's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Beattie looking for a guillotine here but Yoda defends easily.

Beattie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yoda defends well. Insane Yoda overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Beattie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yoda is aware though and is defending well. Yoda showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Yoda stands and throws Beattie's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beattie tries to escape but Yoda is in control. Beattie trying to remain calm as Yoda controls from the top position. Yoda throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Beattie wants to control but Yoda postures up. Yoda misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Beattie parries the strikes from Yoda easily there. Yoda is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Beattie to escape.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Beattie wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Yoda.

Dan Beattie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Insane Yoda's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Beattie works the jab nicely. Beattie drops Yoda with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Yoda! Beattie dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
