Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Insane Yoda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Beattie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoda connects with a nice looking jab.
Beattie misses with a takedown attempt - Yoda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Beattie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yoda's waist but Yoda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beattie off to one side.
Insane Yoda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Beattie.

Yoda manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Beattie leaves Yoda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yoda is defended easily by Beattie.
Beattie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yoda sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beattie somewhat.

Insane Yoda overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Beattie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yoda is aware though and is defending well.
