Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mariano Neal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiran McGuinness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Keiran McGuinness enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mariano Neal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Keiran McGuinness!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neal slips a jab and a cross from McGuinness.
Neal throws a head kick but McGuinness moves out of range.
McGuinness swinging wildly here.
Neal throwing a counter right hand but McGuinness manages to avoid it.
McGuinness misses with a wild combination.
Neal is looking to counter punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neal pushes McGuinness up against the cage in a clinch.

McGuinness is looking to break free of the clinch but Neal has double underhooks.

McGuinness lands a left hand that snaps the head of Neal backwards.
Neal has McGuinness pressed against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Neal - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

McGuinness has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Neal clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Neal manages to escape to his feet.
McGuinness throws a series of strikes that have Neal backpedaling.
Mariano Neal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Neal tries a head kick but it misses.
Neal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McGuinness swivels and escapes.

McGuinness gets caught napping as Neal dives in and scores a takedown. McGuinness manages to retain guard.
Neal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

McGuinness is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McGuinness wants to get back to his feet but Neal is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McGuinness pulls Neal in close to prevent any damage.
Neal really is a fat lump.
McGuinness looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

McGuinness is looking for a triangle here but Neal uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Neal scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at McGuinness to see if he's OK.

Neal has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

McGuinness closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Neal quickly recovers to half guard.

Neal is looking to escape.
McGuinness trying to control the pace.
Neal is controlling McGuinness's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Neal pushes McGuinness off looking to stand but McGuinness dives back in and keeps control.

Neal has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but McGuinness is on him like a limpet, forcing Neal back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Neal takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Neal has McGuinness pressed against the cage, preventing McGuinness from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Neal throws a head kick but McGuinness moves out of range.
McGuinness is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
McGuinness throws a series of punches but Neal avoids them all with ease.
McGuinness throws a combination. Neal tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Neal throws a wild body kick that McGuinness sees coming a mile off.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McGuinness!
McGuinness will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Neal seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Neal moves into the clinch.
Neal's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

McGuinness gets control of Neal's arms and successfully pulls guard. McGuinness will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
McGuinness trying to keep a closed guard but Neal is proving a slippery customer.
McGuinness is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
McGuinness lands some strikes from the bottom.
Neal is stalling in the full guard.

Neal is looking to work some ground and pound but McGuinness has wrist control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
McGuinness leaves Neal with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

McGuinness fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Neal to the ground. McGuinness is now in Neal's guard.

Neal seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
McGuinness looking to sit in guard and control but Neal gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Neal throwing strikes but missing.
Neal prevents McGuinness from getting back to his feet.
McGuinness throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McGuinness looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Neal puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Neal wants to take a breather but McGuinness is having none of it.
McGuinness is trying to stand.
Neal thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
McGuinness really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neal lands strikes from half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McGuinness tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

McGuinness is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Neal pulls his head out easily.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keiran McGuinness showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McGuinness postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neal's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
McGuinness misses with the combination.
Neal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McGuinness scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Neal looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGuinness is fending him off so far but Neal persists. Nope, McGuinness circles away and we're back to standing.
As Neal backs off McGuinness throws a huge counter combo but Neal manages to avoid it all.
Neal wants to clinch.
McGuinness swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Neal blocks the body kick.
Nice takedown defense from McGuinness. No joy for Neal on that attempt.

Neal fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mariano Neal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGuinness comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Neal takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
McGuinness keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

McGuinness throws a right and a left that both miss.
McGuinness closes the distance and lands a one-two.
McGuinness scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Neal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McGuinness avoids it really well and circles away.
McGuinness is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McGuinness shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Neal eats them both and turns towards McGuinness to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

And that's the end of the fight!
Keiran McGuinness comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think McGuinness has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
