Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Slaaptgraag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sammy Slaaptgraag! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee avoids the body shot from Slaaptgraag.
Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slaaptgraag's waist but Slaaptgraag gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Lee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lee drives through with a takedown into guard. Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slaaptgraag not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee pushes down on Slaaptgraag's leg and manages to get into half guard. Slaaptgraag trying to hold on to Lee's head to control him but Lee postures up.
Lee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slaaptgraag is just riding it out for now. Lee eventually gives up the hold. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slaaptgraag keeping control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee tries to pass the half guard into mount. Slaaptgraag knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lee is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
