Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lonje Moco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 40 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonje Moco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shaun Styles!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moco throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Styles is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Moco fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Moco. No joy for Styles on that attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Styles looks winded!
Styles is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Moco to keep the fight standing.
Styles misses with a knee strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moco turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Moco is staying tight to Styles's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moco moves into full mount!
Moco lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Moco sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Moco has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Moco is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Styles is surviving well by controlling Moco's body position as best he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moco controlling the pace for now.
Moco has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Moco.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Styles is trying to escape the mount.

Moco is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Moco drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Moco working the ground and pound.
You can see the frustration on Styles's face as Moco controls the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Moco has knee on belly momentarily but Styles bucks him off and regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moco trying to control the pace.
Moco working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Moco is figuring out what he wants to do next.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lonje Moco dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Styles clinches up against the cage.
Styles tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Moco manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Styles throws an elbow that misses. Moco uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Styles's guard. Nice move by Moco!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moco sitting in guard here, content to control.
Moco pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Styles is keeping the position for now.

Styles wants to control the position but Moco says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Styles is breathing heavily.
Moco is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Styles is trying to control but can't.

Moco is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Styles has managed to free his arm - good work.
Moco has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Styles tries to lock up and control but Moco gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Moco controlling the position easily from mount.

Moco is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Styles to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Styles shrugs it off.
Moco looking to control and managing it successfully.
Moco seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Styles for as long as he can get away with.
Lonje Moco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Styles is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Moco locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Styles is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lonje Moco!
