Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thurman Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ornin Koromar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thurman Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ornin Koromar! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace throws a leg kick and Koromar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wallace pushes Koromar off and gets back to his feet. Koromar gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A combination from Koromar does no damage. Wallace changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Wallace bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wallace is looking to take a break and control but Koromar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wallace misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Wallace thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Koromar tries to bench press Wallace off him but Wallace keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace looking to control but instead Koromar has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koromar keeping control of the position. Wallace thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Koromar's head. Koromar is refusing to be controlled, as Wallace sits in half guard. Wallace thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Wallace missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Koromar preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Wallace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Koromar's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Wallace lands strikes from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Koromar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Wallace looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Wallace looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Koromar is doing well to control the position and prevent Wallace from advancing to side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wallace is taking a breather. Koromar says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Wallace tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Koromar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Koromar should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koromar tries to bum rush Wallace with a series of wild strikes but Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Koromar lands a jab-cross combination. Koromar has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wallace will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wallace's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Wallace throws an elbow that misses. Koromar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wallace's guard. Nice move by Koromar!
Koromar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace has a closed guard, preventing Koromar from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wallace lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Koromar can do anything to dispel that myth. Koromar avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Koromar has Wallace pulled in close to control his posture. Koromar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Koromar looks winded! Wallace trying to control but Koromar is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wallace is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Koromar's half guard. Wallace not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace drives through with a takedown into Koromar's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Koromar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Koromar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Koromar pulls Wallace in close to prevent any damage. Wallace wants to control from the top but Koromar keeps moving. Wallace scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Wallace throws a big elbow that misses. Wallace is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Koromar can do to turn this around? Wallace decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Koromar has eaten all the pies!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koromar fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wallace checks it well. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Koromar. Koromar moves into the clinch. Wallace with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Wallace lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Koromar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Koromar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Wallace postures up in Koromar's guard and throws a big left but Koromar blocks it. Wallace trying to control the position from guard on top but Koromar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wallace gets to his feet - Koromar follows without any prompting. Koromar is breathing heavily. Koromar looks for the body kick but Wallace saw that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koromar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wallace manages to avoid it. Wallace looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Koromar being controlled here, momentarily. Koromar has control of Wallace's left arm, preventing Wallace from doing any damage. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Koromar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wallace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wallace wants to control from the top but Koromar keeps moving. Wallace is really struggling to control Koromar but he's trying to hold on to the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Koromar trying to control the position here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Wallace drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thurman Wallace dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Koromar misses with a straight left. Wallace tries to counter by clinching up but Koromar breaks away and moves out of range. Koromar scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Wallace showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Koromar.
And Wallace counters with a quick kick to the body but Koromar blocks it. Koromar looks to land a body kick but Wallace moved away. Wallace appears to be looking for a counter takedown. As Koromar tries to get set, Wallace tries to push him back and clinch up but Koromar manages to avoid the attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace gets tackled into the cage by Koromar. Koromar maintains the clinch. Wallace pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wallace shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Koromar is trying to defend but Wallace finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koromar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Koromar is doing well to control the position and prevent Wallace from advancing to side control. Koromar is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wallace scores with a couple of nice shots. Koromar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wallace is working away from the top position though. Koromar blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wallace. Koromar has hold of Wallace's hands but Wallace slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wallace stands up from half guard. Wallace feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Koromar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Koromar, up you get! Koromar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wallace tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Koromar is in Wallace's guard. Wallace pulls Koromar in close to prevent any damage. Wallace wants to sweep but no luck. Koromar postures up.
Koromar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wallace's guard. Koromar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Wallace tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koromar is looking to stand up but Wallace won't let him. Wallace is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Koromar wants to stand but Wallace has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Koromar stopping the sweep attempt from Wallace. Wallace seems keen to control Koromar's posture. Wallace has a closed guard, preventing Koromar from standing up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Koromar throws a poor cross that misses
and Wallace counters with a lovely straight right hand! Koromar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Koromar gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wallace to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wallace controls from within his opponent's guard. Wallace trying to control the position from guard on top but Koromar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ornin Koromar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Thurman Wallace is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Koromar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wallace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that's the end of the fight! Thurman Wallace showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wallace, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
