Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brown is defended easily by Lee.
Lee throws a big counter combination but Brown scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brown passes Lee's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lee is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown wants to work for an arm triangle but Lee is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though.

Lee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Brown is looking for a kimura but Lee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brown to get the leverage.

Brown in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lee tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Brown!
