Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asmar Dagher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Abalajon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Asmar Dagher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Abalajon! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dagher, as that shot connected.
It looks like George Abalajon has been cut. Abalajon takes a swing at Dagher's ribcage but misses. Abalajon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dagher. Abalajon looks like he wants to counter punch here. Dagher throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Abalajon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Abalajon takes a swing at Dagher's ribcage but misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dagher misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dagher drops Abalajon with a beautiful combination! Abalajon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dagher is looking for the KO! Dagher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Abalajon now looks to counter with a shot at the body. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Abalajon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Abalajon avoids the body shot from Dagher.
Dagher swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dagher misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dagher misses with a low kick.
A countering left hand to the body from Abalajon misses. Abalajon throws a body punch but Dagher moves out of range. Abalajon slips under a jab. Abalajon replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Dagher blocks it well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dagher is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abalajon. Dagher throws a right hand that Abalajon ducks under and follows up with a left that Abalajon also avoids with ease. Dagher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abalajon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That has opened up George Abalajon's cut even more. Dagher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abalajon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dagher swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A countering left hand to the body from Abalajon misses. Dagher throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Abalajon doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Dagher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Abalajon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dagher tries to sprawl but Abalajon drives through with a takedown into half guard. Abalajon controlling the action here. Dagher is looking to get back to is feet but Abalajon passes into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dagher pushes Abalajon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Abalajon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Dagher is trying to escape the position but Abalajon is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asmar Dagher dominated that round. The cut man is working on George Abalajon's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dagher lands with a slapping head kick. Abalajon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dagher struggling a bit here. Abalajon tries to advance to mount but Dagher denies him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dagher is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Dagher managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Abalajon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abalajon tries to move to mount but Dagher blocks the move with his legs. Dagher bucks up and tries to throw Abalajon off but instead Abalajon has got his back! Dagher trying to get back to his feet but Abalajon is in full control for now. Dagher is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Abalajon is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The adventures of Abalajon the control monster continue. Boring.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dagher is trying to get back to his feet but Abalajon has full control of the position and if anything, Dagher has just worked his way into a worse spot. A bit of a pause in the action here. Abalajon controlling the positon. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Abalajon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on George Abalajon's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Abalajon looks to score with a jab to the body but Dagher is just out of range. Dagher tries a head kick but it misses.
Abalajon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dagher moves away. Dagher lands with a kick to the temple. Abalajon shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abalajon avoids a kick to the body.
Abalajon lands a jab to the nose.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abalajon shoots in for a takedown but Dagher shows good takedown defense. Dagher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Abalajon now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Asmar Dagher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dagher misses with an uppercut. Dagher wants to clinch up but Abalajon keeps it at a distance. As Dagher backs off Abalajon throws a huge counter combo but Dagher manages to avoid it all. Asmar Dagher is winning the standup battle so far. Abalajon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dagher connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Abalajon scrambles back to his feet.
The cut above George Abalajon's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slapping body kick lands there for Dagher. Dagher misses with a double jab
and Abalajon counters with a three punch combo that has Dagher backing up. Dagher nods at Abalajon to acknowledge the strikes. Abalajon dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dagher feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Abalajons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dagher throws a head kick that misses and Abalajon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A head kick misses from Dagher. Abalajon swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. We've been told by Dagher's head coaches at The Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Dagher looks to land a right hand but Abalajon moved out of range. Dagher tries to clinch but Abalajon is having none of it. Asmar Dagher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dagher lands with a slapping head kick.
George Abalajon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at George Abalajon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Asmar Dagher! Our winner, Asmar Dagher, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
