Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humphrey Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Tyrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ThunderStruck. Chad Tyrell acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Humphrey Baker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chad Tyrell! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyrell circles away from the clinch attempt and Tyrell counters with an outside leg kick.
Tyrell throws a sloppy head kick and Baker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tyrell misses with a low kick as Baker jumps back. Baker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brazilian Elite Team in the buildup to the fight. Baker dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A kick lands to the mid section there for Baker. Tyrell swings widly with a right hand
and Baker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Baker struggles to land a body shot inside as Tyrell controls his hands.
Tyrell tries to stall but Baker uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Tyrell will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Baker up against the cage. Tyrell stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tyrell manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tyrell receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Baker digs a right hand into Tyrell's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Tyrell's gas tank. Baker struggles to land a body shot inside as Tyrell controls his hands.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tyrell.
Baker seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Tyrell getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Tyrell misses with an uppercut. Baker saw that one coming. Some wild striking there from Baker.
Tyrell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baker sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tyrell fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Baker is out of range. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tyrell.
Tyrell throws a series of punches but Baker moves out of range. Baker lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Baker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tyrell manages to avoid it. Tyrell has Baker up against the cage in a clinch.

Tyrell's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Tyrell blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Tyrell throws a body punch but Baker moves out of range. A low kick from Baker is predictable there and Tyrell counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Tyrell trying to control the action but Baker is working from the bottom. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tyrell working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Tyrell might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Baker haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Tyrell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Baker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tyrell. Tyrell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baker keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tyrell is looking for a kimura but Baker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tyrell to get the leverage. Still in half guard, Tyrell seems content to control. Baker avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tyrell. Tyrell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baker keeps working. Baker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tyrell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Baker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Baker wants to improve his position but Tyrell is controlling well.

Baker has momentary wrist control but Tyrell slips an elbow through the middle. Tyrell makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Tyrell trying to control but Baker is working from the bottom. Tyrell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Baker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Baker passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tyrell gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Baker postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Tyrell wants to sweep but no luck. Baker looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Baker advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Tyrell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Tyrell stuns Baker with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Chad Tyrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baker keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Tyrell lands a big head kick that sends Baker tumbling to the mat! Tyrell takes a step backwards and waves Baker back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Baker is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tyrell doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Oh Baker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Baker slips a jab from Tyrell. Tyrell misses the shot to the body. Tyrell works Baker's body with a nice hook. Baker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Baker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Tyrell lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Baker falls backwards - clearly groggy! Tyrell dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chad Tyrell! Chad Tyrell really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bullet Proof System logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. Humphrey Baker spoke after the fight, saying 'If I cant kick ur ass...my momma can !'.
