Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gracie Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gracie Allen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
34 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Clark! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen misses with a lunging right hand
and Clark counters with a nice leg kick. Allen tries for a takedown but Clark circles away easily and Clark counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Allen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Clark looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Allen blocks a jab. Allen misses with an uppercut
and Clark counters with a stiff right hand. Allen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Clark checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Allen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Allen misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Clark counters with a right hand to the body. Allen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Gracie Allen has been cut. Clark lands with a slapping head kick. Clark misses with a wild body shot. Clark takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Allen moves forwards but Clark connects with a nice, crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Clark fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Allen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Clark. Nice uppercut there from Clark. Allen thows a left - swing and a miss! Allen backing away here, and Clark unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Allen's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Allen duly obliges. Clark throws a poor cross that misses
and Allen counters with a low kick, right behind Clark 's knee. Eddie Clark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Allen misses with the body kick and Clark counters with a stiff right hand. Allen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Clark connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Allen scrambles back to his feet. Clark moves into the clinch. Allen pulls guard successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Allen is pulling down on Clark's head to control his posture. Clark stopping the sweep attempt from Allen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Clark is fighting to break Allen's control of his arms but Allen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen trying to keep a closed guard but Clark is proving a slippery customer.
Clark tries to free his leg and advance position but Allen is retaining full guard. Allen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clark defends it easily. Allen trying to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

It seemed like Clark was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Clark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Allen. Clark works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Gracie Allen's cut is getting worse. Allen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Clark makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Allen scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Clark lands with a right hand. Clark is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Allen had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Clark buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Allen thumps Clark with a low kick. Clark throws out a powerful jab. Gracie Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clark is looking to slow Allen down with leg kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Allen. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Allen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A nice leg kick lands there from Clark. Clark stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clark wants it to stay on the feet. Clark just misses with a punch to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Allen. Clark shrugs it off though. Clark is looking to clinch. Clark blocks a jab. Allen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clark. Allen throws a leg kick and Clark counters with a lovely straight right hand! Clark lands a glancing blow to the side of Allen's head. Clark has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Allen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Clark lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Clark misses with a hook. Allen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Allen misses the jab. Nice shot lands for Clark. Allen is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Clark's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Clark clinches up with Allen and pushes him back against the cage. Allen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Clark creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A head punch blocked on the inside by Clark. Clark swings wildly with an uppercut but Allen uses good head movement to avoid it. Clark working some nice short punches in the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Allen.

Allen does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Clark! But no joy. Allen throws a leg kick and Clark counters with a straight right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Clark defending well as Allen loads up on a big left hand. Allen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Clark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Allen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Clark. Allen looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Clark throws a front kick that sends Allen stumbling back into the cage. Allen seems to have got his legs back now. Clark loads up on a big right hand but Allen slips the punch. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Allen. Clark shrugs it off though. Eddie Clark spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
