The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banga lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Herzog with a poor takedown
and Banga counters with a series of strikes. Herzog will be more careful next time no doubt.
Herzog shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Banga defends it nicely.
Banga is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Banga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Herzog.
Benga Banga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oberst Herzog.

It looked like Banga was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Banga holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

It looks like Oberst Herzog has been cut.
Banga lands a body punch.
We've been informed that Herzog has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Banga lands with a light punch inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Banga.
Banga scores with a shoulder strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Banga lands a body shot.
Banga lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Banga makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Banga drops Herzog onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Herzog is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Banga working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Banga lands a big right hand that drops Herzog! The killer instinct kicks in and Banga finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Banga!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benga Banga!

Benga Banga decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
