Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeke Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordi Joestar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donovan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Failure by Breaking Benjamin. Joestar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stand Proud kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordi Joestar! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joestar jabbing away but nothing is landing. Donovan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Despite the aggression on Joestar's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Joestar looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Donovan rushes Joestar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Donovan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Joestar backwards. Donovan tries to work over Joestar's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Joestar dodges an elbow strike from Donovan.
Donovan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Donovan lands a right hand. Donovan misses with a short punch on the inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Donovan. Donovan throws an elbow but it misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Donovan. Joestar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Donovan backwards. A nice left hand lands by Donovan.
Joestar swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Joestar blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Donovan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Donovan stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Donovan misses with a punch to the body.

I was talking to Donovan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Donovan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Joestar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Donovan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Joestar. Joestar obviously looking to wear him down.
Donovan doesn't manage to clinch there - Joestar circles away.
Zeke Donovan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Donovan tries to clinch but Joestar moves out of range. Donovan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Joestar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Donovan manages to avoid it. Joestar lands a big head kick that sends Donovan tumbling to the mat! Joestar takes a step backwards and waves Donovan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Zeke Donovan has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Joestar circles away from the clinch attempt.

Joestar flicks out a counter leg kick but Donovan steps away. Joestar circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Donovan drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Joestar follows Donovan to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jordi Joestar! Jordi Joestar decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. Zeke Donovan was interviewed post fight and said 'I underestimated my opponent, and didn't try as hard I could have. He was the better man. Simple as that.'.
