Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Dunc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dunc might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kid Rock- Cowboy. Kyle Dunc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunc tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. James manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
James throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A shot to the liver by James. Beautiful body shot.
Dunc throws a leg kick that is checked
and James counters with a series of strikes. Dunc will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dunc tries to clinch up.
James swats away the attempt to clinch by Dunc.
James gets a double leg takedown into Dunc's guard.
Dunc wants to sweep but no luck.
Dunc is working hard here to advance position.
James trying to control but Dunc is working from the bottom.
Dunc on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dunc tries to get out of the position.
Dunc is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dunc is on top in guard.

Dunc has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dunc. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dunc accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dunc postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James is trying to keep Dunc in close.

Dunc keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of James's head.
James is still in real trouble! Can Dunc finish him?

Dunc arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! James's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kyle Dunc!
Kyle Dunc gave a mention to Phantom Fightwear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
