Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgie Porgie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Georgie Porgie!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Porgie successfully pulls guard.
Porgie is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Porgie looking to control.

Turner stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Porgie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Turner tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Porgie manages to circle out of the way.
Porgie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Turner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Porgie! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turner fails in his attempt to clinch.
Porgie misses with a series of wild punches.
Georgie Porgie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Porgie feints and as Turner raises his hands in defense, Porgie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Turner wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Porgie manages to pass to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Porgie is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Porgie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Turner sees it coming and defends easily.
Porgie is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turner trying to control but Porgie postures up.
Turner wants to get back to full guard but Porgie has mounted him!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Porgie looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Porgie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Turner takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Porgie controlling from mount.
Porgie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Turner looks a forlorn figure.
Porgie fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Turner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Porgie controlling the position easily from mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Porgie wants to finish this one by submission but Turner is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Porgie.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Georgie Porgie dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Porgie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Turner's half guard.

Turner has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Porgie is on him like a limpet, forcing Turner back against the cage.
Turner with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Turner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Porgie to keep the fight standing.
Turner pushes off an throws an elbow but Porgie leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Porgie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Turner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Porgie has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Turner ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Turner no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Porgie looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Porgie gets to his feet - Turner follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Porgie fails with the takedown.
Turner went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Porgie has a takedown stuffed.
Dave Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Georgie Porgie.
Porgie tries to clinch up but Turner circles away and keeps his distance.
Turner seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Porgie shoots in for a double leg but Turner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Porgie misses with a double jab

and Turner counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Porgie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turner looking to sit in guard and control but Porgie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Porgie stays in close to Turner's body and controls the position.
Porgie with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Turner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Porgie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Porgie not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Turner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Porgie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Let's hope that Porgie has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Turner throws a lazy head kick

and Porgie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Turner is trying to control but Porgie manages to pass to mount!
Porgie postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Turner in real trouble here! The ref calls for Turner to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Georgie Porgie!
An out of breath Georgie Porgie thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
