Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Workman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Miller!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a body shot but no joy.

Miller moves into the clinch.
Miller misses with the head strike.

Workman jumps guard and drags Miller to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Workman wants to stand up but Miller is controlling him.
Workman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Miller looking to pass the guard.
Workman wants to stand but Miller is controlling the position.
Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Workman looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Workman seems keen to control Miller's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Workman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Miller's guard.

Miller is looking to stand up but Workman isn't so interested in that idea.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth.
Workman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Miller works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Workman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Miller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Workman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Workman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Miller is looking to stand back up but Workman counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Miller.
Workman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Workman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Miller wants to stand back up but Workman manages to pass into side control.
Miller tries to escape but Workman is in control.
Workman tries to score with some ground and pound. Miller controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Miller is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Workman is controlling him well.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Workman creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Miller sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Miller tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Miller is trying to stand back up.
Workman throwing wild punches that miss their target.
Miller is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Workman scores with punches from the back.
Workman loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Miller hold on?

Miller covering up well and avoiding damage.
Miller wants to get back to his feet.
Workman gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Workman is looking for the choke from the back position but Miller is controlling his hands well.
Miller is trying to stand back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Workman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Miller throws a good cross that connects.
Miller swings for the body but Workman moves out of range.
Miller lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Workman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miller avoids it really well and circles away.
Workman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miller circles away.

Miller has Workman up against the cage in a clinch.
Miller keeps control of Workman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller has a couple of punches blocked by Workman.
Workman can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Workman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice body punch from Miller - that landed with a thud.
A nice left hand lands by Miller.

Miller makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Workman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Miller misses with a punch on the inside.

Workman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Miller walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Workman drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Miller swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Workman's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Miller!
Our winner, Jack Miller, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
