Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Cowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahmed Salim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salim tries a low kick but Cowell avoids it.
Cowell seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Cowell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cowell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Cowell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Salim.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Salim has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looks like Alex Cowell has been cut.
Cowell gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Salim points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Cowell wakes up just in time to hear Salim thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
