The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgins blocks a head kick by freak.

Higgins drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Higgins wants to get up but he can't break freak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Higgins is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but freak has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Higgins is looking to defend but freak has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Higgins! freak pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Higgins taps out and this one is all over!
