Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Krukowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Munchack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krukowski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Disturbed - The Sound of Silence. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Krukowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franklin Munchack! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krukowski scores with a hook to the body. Munchack takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Krukowski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Munchack is trying to defend but Krukowski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Krukowski trying to control the action but Munchack is working from the bottom. Munchack keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Munchack has hold of Krukowski's hands but Krukowski slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krukowski content to control rather than advance. Krukowski not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Krukowski not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Munchack wants to stand but Krukowski is controlling the position. Krukowski in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Munchack is trying to control the position but Krukowski postures up. Krukowski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Munchack is pulling down on Krukowski's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Munchack keeping moving, preventing Krukowski from controlling successfully. Krukowski throwing strikes but missing. Munchack utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Krukowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Munchack swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kevin Krukowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Munchack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Krukowski as he avoids it easily. Krukowski throws a quick counter head kick but Munchack was just out of range. Krukowski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Munchack wants a takedown.

Kevin Krukowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franklin Munchack.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munchack goes for a takedown in the clinch but Krukowski prevents it.
Krukowski is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Krukowski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Krukowski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Krukowski is pulling down on Munchack's head to control his posture. Munchack loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Krukowski is trying to keep Munchack in close.
Krukowski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Munchack is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Munchack trying to control the position from guard on top but Krukowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Munchack might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Krukowski haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Munchack gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Krukowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Krukowski won't allow Munchack to sweep him here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Munchack can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Krukowski controls the pace. Munchack working for a triangle but Krukowski defends it easily.
Krukowski makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Krukowski dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Krukowski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Munchack tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Krukowski is in Munchack's guard. Munchack pushes Krukowski off and gets back to his feet.
Munchack tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Krukowski is able to avoid easily. Munchack swings for the body but Krukowski moves out of range.
Krukowski misses with a wild body shot. Munchack is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Krukowski fails to land with a series of punches.
Krukowski looks for the body kick but Munchack saw that one coming. Krukowski takes a swing at Munchack's ribcage but misses. And Munchack tries to counter it with a takedown but Krukowski pushes his down on his head and steps out. A combination from Krukowski does no damage. Krukowski moves into range and clinches up with Munchack. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Munchack tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Krukowski smiles and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krukowski clinches up against the cage. Krukowski tries a body shot but Munchack blocks it.
Krukowski is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Munchack is defending well for now. Krukowski gets control of Munchack's arms and successfully pulls guard. Krukowski will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Krukowski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Munchack won't allow Krukowski to sweep him here. Munchack postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
It looks like Kevin Krukowski has been cut. Krukowski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Munchack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krukowski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Krukowski working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Munchack has passed into half guard!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munchack tries to pass the half guard into mount. Krukowski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Krukowski is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Munchack can do to turn this around? Krukowski is trying to control but can't.
Krukowski wants to improve his position but Munchack is controlling well.
Krukowski is trying to maintain the position but Munchack is very close to passing his half guard. Nice strikes from Munchack there. Kevin Krukowski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Munchack is trying to control. Krukowski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Well, if Munchack is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Krukowski won't allow Munchack to pass to mount. Krukowski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Munchack is looking to take a break and control but Krukowski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Krukowski tries to roll over but Munchack keeps him under control. Krukowski trying to hold on to Munchack's head to control him but Munchack postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Krukowski moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krukowski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Munchack struggling a bit here. Krukowski throwing strikes but Munchack manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! You can see the frustration on Krukowski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Krukowski manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Munchack throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Munchack wants to pass the guard but Krukowski is defending well. Krukowski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Munchack pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kevin Krukowski will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kevin Krukowski's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Munchack closes the distance and clinches. Krukowski has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Munchack regains guard immediately. Munchack scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Krukowski throws a head kick that misses. Munchack will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Munchack shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Krukowski sprawls well. Krukowski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Munchack gets slowly back to his feet. Krukowski gets a double leg takedown into Munchack's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krukowski trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Krukowski won't allow Munchack to sweep him here. Munchack controlling Krukowski's posture. Krukowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Munchack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Krukowski stopping the sweep attempt from Munchack. Munchack is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Munchack bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krukowski's guard.

Munchack looking to sit in guard and control but Krukowski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Krukowski trying to control but Munchack is working from the bottom. Krukowski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Munchack's head. Munchack manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Krukowski manages to get himself to full guard.
Krukowski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Munchack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krukowski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Munchack gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Munchack wants to control from the top but Krukowski keeps moving. Krukowski wants to sweep here but Munchack controlling him for the moment. Kevin Krukowski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Munchack postures up.
Krukowski is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Krukowski looking for a sweep. Not yet Krukowski, not yet. Munchack tries to free his leg and advance position but Krukowski is retaining full guard. Munchack is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Krukowski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Munchack stays in close to Krukowski's body and controls the position. Munchack trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Munchack bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Munchack tries to clinch there but Krukowski circles away.
Krukowski throws a leg kick but Munchack sees it coming and moves out of range. Franklin Munchack has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Krukowski moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kevin Krukowski. Well Krukowski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
