Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Warren Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peace comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC Thunder Struck. Masters has chosen Simply the Best as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Warren Peace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Masters ! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Peace throws a lazy uppercut
and Masters counters with a nice low kick that buckles Peace's knee momentarily. Peace closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Masters to the mat! Masters manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Peace's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Masters working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Peace. Peace is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Masters is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Peace is controlling him. Peace wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peace throwing strikes from guard but Masters blocks nicely. Peace wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving. Peace will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peace has gone for a leg lock! Masters slips out almost immediately though and dives into Peace's guard. Masters postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters is looking to work some ground and pound but Peace has wrist control. Peace looking for a guillotine here but Masters defends easily.
Masters content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Peace wants to sweep here but Masters controlling him for the moment. Peace avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Peace looking to hit a scissor sweep but Masters is one step ahead there. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Masters accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters lands a couple of digs. Masters trying to control the position from guard on top but Peace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peace is pulling down on Masters 's head to control his posture. Peace had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Masters defends it easily. Masters stands up over Peace, holding his feet. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Masters with a flurry of punches that miss. Masters stays in close to Peace's body and controls the position. Masters is continuing to stall. Peace preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Peace is trying to keep Masters in close.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Masters catches Peace with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Peace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Masters as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Masters dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Peace has a takedown stuffed. Masters throws a low kick but it's checked well by Peace. Peace tries for a takedown but Masters circles away easily and Masters cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Peace dives in and grabs Masters 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Masters pushes down on Peace's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Warren Peace. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peace checks the leg kick nicely there.
Peace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Peace takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Warren Peace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peace shoots in for a double leg but Masters sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peace dives in for a single leg takedown but Masters sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Peace misses with a takedown attempt - Masters sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Peace looks for a takedown but Masters sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters looks to throw the jab but Peace is out of range. Masters misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peace goes for a double leg but Masters avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Masters continues to drive forward. A left lands for Masters . Masters misses with a looping left. Peace appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Masters punishes Peace's body with a nice straight punch. A nice inside leg kick there by Masters . That's going to slow Peace down. Masters lands a jab-cross combination. Peace looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Peace sets himself, and Masters steps forward looking for the clinch! Peace avoids it this time. Peace keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Masters . Masters jabs at Peace's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Peace misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Masters lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Peace fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Masters is out of range. Peace looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Masters is fending him off so far but Peace persists. Nope, Masters circles away and we're back to standing. Masters tries a quick counter leg kick but Peace is wise to it. Peace takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Masters throws a jab but it's blocked by Peace. Peace half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Peace checks a leg kick. Peace drops down looking for a counter takedown but Masters sprawls and moves away. Masters tries a head kick but it misses.
Peace lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peace tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Masters is able to avoid easily. Peace tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Masters swivels and escapes. Masters throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Peace stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Masters looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Peace shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Peace tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Masters throws a leg kick but Peace checks it. Peace checks the leg kick. Peace shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Masters napping and manages to drive through into side control! Peace sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Masters is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Peace misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Masters has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peace throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Masters is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Masters regains half guard, as Peace was trying to land strikes. Masters is looking to get back to is feet but Peace passes into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peace trying to control the action but Masters is working from the bottom. Peace goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Masters rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Peace's guard! Nice work there by Masters ! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Masters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Masters misses with a straight right. Peace gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Masters . Masters throws a head kick that Peace semi-blocks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Masters lands a jab to the nose. Peace darts in looking for a takedown but Masters gets double underhooks and turns Peace into the cage. Peace looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Peace tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A momentary lapse in concentration from Masters enables Peace to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Masters manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peace content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Masters is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Peace looking to sit in guard and control but Masters gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Peace keeping moving, preventing Masters from controlling successfully. Masters works over Peace with some ground and pound from guard. Peace wants to sweep but no luck. Masters cracks Peace with a solid left hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Masters 's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Warren Peace has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Peace controls Masters momentarily but Masters frees himself. Masters is working Peace over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Peace has control of Masters 's left arm, preventing Masters from doing any damage. Masters won't allow Peace to sweep him here. Peace is working hard here to advance position. Masters with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Peace not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masters is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Ken Masters is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Peace is trying to control the position but Masters postures up. Masters controlling from the top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Peace swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Masters cracks the inside of Peace's front leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Peace throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Masters counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Peace crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Masters - the referee stops the clock and Peace gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Masters . Peace manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Peace scores with a takedown into Masters 's guard. Peace with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Masters is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Peace throwing strikes from guard but Masters blocks nicely. Peace throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Masters works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ken Masters has got the better of the ground game so far. Peace stops Masters from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Ken Masters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Masters has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ken Masters ! A very excited looking Ken Masters made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Warren Peace was interviewed post fight and said 'I was not prepared for this fight. I will be prepared next time.'.
