Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tin Petrovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrovich has chosen Straight outta compton as his entrance music. Tin Petrovich will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bryce Gardner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tin Petrovich! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.

Petrovich has managed to clinch.
Petrovich is pushing Gardner up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Gardner changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Petrovich fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Petrovich lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gardner backwards.
Gardner has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Petrovich uses from the top position. Gardner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gardner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Gardner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Petrovich not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gardner throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petrovich has control of Gardner's left arm, preventing Gardner from doing any damage. Gardner lands a couple of elbows. Gardner won't allow Petrovich to get back to his feet.

Gardner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Petrovich looking to control.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gardner stands up from guard. Let's bang! Petrovich scores with a kick to the midsection. Petrovich wants to clinch.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gardner throws a head kick that misses. Gardner throws a hook but Petrovich avoids it easily.
Petrovich closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gardner to the mat! Gardner manages to get full guard. Gardner tries to land a sweep but no joy. Petrovich must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gardner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Petrovich gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Petrovich is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tin Petrovich will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Petrovich rushes Gardner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gardner is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Petrovich pulls him back up using the underhooks. Petrovich tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Petrovich is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gardner is defending well for now. Petrovich's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Petrovich avoiding damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Petrovich darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gardner makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! No joy there for Petrovich, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Petrovich just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryce Gardner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gardner managing to block the knees to the body from Petrovich.
Gardner is trying to pull guard but Petrovich has him pressed against the cage. Petrovich has a couple of punches blocked by Gardner.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petrovich manages to break the clinch.
Petrovich feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gardner has an active guard here but Petrovich has managed to pass into half guard.

Petrovich fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gardner sprawls well initially but Petrovich persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gardner manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Petrovich keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Petrovich is breathing heavily.
Petrovich escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Petrovich moves in looking to clinch but Gardner pushes him off. An attempted straight right counter from Gardner misses the target. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gardner misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gardner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Petrovich's half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tin Petrovich showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gardner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Petrovich's half guard. Gardner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Petrovich with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Petrovich is trying to control but can't.

Gardner postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Petrovich is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gardner, into his guard.
