Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flavio Lazzarini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uruk Owraa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lazzarini comes to the cage accompanied by Goffredo Mameli - 'Il Canto degli Italiani'. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazzarini avoids the body shot from Owraa.
Owraa takes a swing at Lazzarini's ribcage but misses.
Owraa tests Lazzarini's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lazzarini clinches up with Owraa and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Uruk Owraa has been cut.
Lazzarini scores with a knee to the head.
Owraa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lazzarini walks away with a smile on his face. Owraa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lazzarini walks into a straight right hand from Owraa.
Lazzarini goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lazzarini uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Owraa.
Lazzarini lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Owraa tries for a takedown but Lazzarini circles away easily
and Lazzarini counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Owraa off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Lazzarini follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Owraa was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Flavio Lazzarini!
In his post fight interview, Flavio Lazzarini started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Uruk Owraa spoke after the fight, saying 'I did not get to drink the blood of my opponent but I promise Il be back to take his soul.'.
