Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Lester will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buster Leon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Lester! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lester shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Leon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are battling for position here. Leon manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Leon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Leon keeping moving, preventing Lester from controlling successfully. Leon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lester stops Leon from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leon looking for a sweep. Not yet Leon, not yet. Lester tries to stand but Leon is controlling from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Lester postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Leon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lester, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Leon postures up.
Leon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Leon wanted to stand there but Lester had control of the position. Leon sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lester throws a lazy body kick and Leon counters with a single leg into guard. Lester didn't expect that. Leon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lester wants to control but Leon passes easily into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Leon in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Leon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lester wants to control but Leon is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Leon is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Leon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lester throws a head kick that misses and Leon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lester bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Buster Leon dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lester decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Leon manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Lester keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Lester has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Leon is trying to keep an underhook but Lester manages to get the takedown into half guard. Lester stops Leon from getting back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lester misses with a head shot. Leon uses the momentum to regain guard. Leon is looking to stand up but Lester isn't so interested in that idea. Leon is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Lester presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Lester has Leon pressed against the cage, preventing Leon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lester shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Leon has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lester has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Lester manages to break the clinch.
Leon takes a swing at Lester's ribcage but misses. Lester instigates a clinch. Leon digs a right hand underneath Lester's ribcage. Lester let out a lung full of air as it connected. Leon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Leon pulls Lester into guard.
Leon is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lester blocks an uppercut.
Leon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lester closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lester tightens his grip and picks Leon up, before dumping him to the ground. Leon manages to land in guard. Lester is breathing heavily. Leon wants to stand but Lester is controlling the position. Leon kicks Lester off and gets to his feet. Leon throws a sloppy head kick and Lester moves out of range easily. Lester closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Leon to the mat! Leon manages to get full guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Leon manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Leon is trying to force a seperation but Lester has the dominant position. Leon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Leon gets control of Lester's arms and successfully pulls guard. Leon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Leon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lester's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Leon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Leon throws a head kick but Lester moves out of range.
Lester closes the distance and pushes Leon back into the cage. Leon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lester can do to turn this around? Leon stalling the fight.

Lester fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Leon to the ground. Lester is now in Leon's guard. Leon is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lester looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Leon! Leon throws Lester to one side and escapes! This has been an exciting period of action! Lester takes a head kick and keeps coming.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Leon has Lester up against the cage in a clinch.

Lester manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Leon stands and steps away. Lester gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lester blocks a head kick by Leon.
Lester doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lester closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Leon's guard. Leon is pulling down on Lester's head. It's preventing any offense from Lester, at least for the moment. Leon pushes Lester off and gets back to his feet.
Leon lands a head kick. Lester smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Leon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Leon. Lester scores with a takedown into Leon's guard. Leon pushes Lester off and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick from Leon lands but Lester takes it in his stride. Leon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Leon lands in his opponent's guard. Sam Lester has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Buster Leon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Leon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lester, up you get!
And that's the end of the fight! Buster Leon showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Leon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
