Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khal Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Nice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drogo throws a looping overhand right but Nice ducks down to avoid it.

Nice looking to score a takedown here. Drogo is defending well but Nice drives through and ends up in Drogo's guard.
Drogo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Nice postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Drogo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nice, into his guard.

Drogo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Drogo trying to control but Nice is working from the bottom.
Drogo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nice is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Drogo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drogo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Drogo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Nice looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Drogo drops back looking for a leg! Nice is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nice manages to kick Drogo off! Drogo jumps back into Nice's guard.

Drogo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nice swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nice escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Drogo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Drogo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nice is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nice has escaped and now he's on top!

Drogo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Nice thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Drogo is trying to keep Nice in close.
Drogo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Drogo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nice swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Drogo is breathing heavily.

Nice is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Drogo rolls with it to try and escape but Nice cranks on the arm and Drogo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
