Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marion Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marion Bright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave Turner! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bright tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Turner defends well and Bright ends up having to push Turner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bright shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Turner counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bright won't be happy with that. Turner content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Bright manages to work his way to half guard, despite Turner's best efforts. Turner prevents Bright from improving his position. Bright is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Turner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Turner's back! Bright is trying to control but Turner is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Turner holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bright tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bright moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Turner has worked his arm free - good work by Turner!
Bright creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Turner sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bright could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bright controls the position. Bright tries for a kimura but Turner is defending well. Turner is not content to let Bright control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bright throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Bright lands a nice forearm strike. Turner managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bright.
Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bright is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Turner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Bright working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Turner sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bright wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turner keeps working. Bright is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bright working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. We've been informed that Turner has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bright throwing shots but Turner is blocking nicely. Bright throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bright decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Dave Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turner closes the distance and clinches. Bright fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marion Bright. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turner lands a hook that snaps the head of Bright backwards. Turner prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bright is working for takedown but Turner is calmly controlling the position for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bright jumps guard but Turner turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Bright fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Turner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. An inside leg kick lands from Turner. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Marion Bright will probably get the nod. That's time! Bright's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Turner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bright. Bright shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Turner is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Bright misses with a takedown attempt and Turner counters with a nice body kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marion Bright. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turner instigates a clinch. Turner lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Marion Bright has been cut. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Turner takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turner tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bright avoids it. Bright fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Turner jumps into guard, dragging Bright to the mat.
Bright might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bright is looking to advance position but Turner has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Bright throwing hammer fists to the chest of Turner. What's that going to do exactly? Bright is desperately trying to improve his position but Turner has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner controlling from the full mount. Bright is in all sorts of trouble here.
Turner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dave Turner has got the better of the ground game so far. Bright is looking to get to half guard. Bright is in a horrible position here. Turner smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bright tries to get back to half guard but can't. Turner looking to finish Bright with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bright! Turner prevents Bright from getting the reversal. Turner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bright is working to get back to half guard.
Turner trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bright is in all sorts of trouble here.
Turner tries to control but Bright wriggling away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bright is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Marion Bright's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Bright misses with a takedown and Turner counters with a flying knee. Nice. Turner feints and as Bright raises his hands in defense, Turner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Turner trying to control but Bright is working from the bottom. Bright thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Bright lands some strikes from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bright is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bright wants to pass to mount but Turner is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bright not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bright thows a huge punch but Turner dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Turner is refusing to be controlled, as Bright sits in half guard. Bright is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Turner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bright. Turner avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bright. Still in half guard, Bright seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bright wants to pass the guard but Turner is defending well. Turner is not content to let Bright control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bright has a takedown stuffed. Turner slaps away a takedown attempt from Bright, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marion Bright. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bright shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Turner as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bright gets caught napping as Turner dives in and scores a takedown. Bright manages to retain guard. Bright looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bright wants to hit a switch here but Turner passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bright there! Bright tries to get back to half guard but can't. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee warns Bright that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Dave Turner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Turner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
