Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jer Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bear comes to the cage accompanied by Good Times. Silva has chosen LL CoolJ - Headsprung as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jer Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
42 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Silva! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance. Bear closes the distance and clinches. Silva's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Bear drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silva lands with a light punch inside.
It looks like Jer Bear has been cut. Bear wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Silva gets through Bear's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Silva pushes Bear back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Silva tries for a takedown but Bear manages to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right from Silva on the inside. Bear blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bear has taken the fight to the clinch.
Silva fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Silva wants a takedown but no success here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear misses with a punch to the body.
Bear breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bear chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silva can pounce on him.
Bear goes for a double leg but Silva avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silva continues to drive forward. Silva swings for the body but Bear moves out of range.
Bear looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well. Bear bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Bear manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jer Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Silva. Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Bear. Bear throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease. Silva stuffs the takedown. Jer Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bear moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off. Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bear has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Bear tests Silva's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bear moves into the clinch successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva gets through Bear's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva breaks the clinch.
Bear moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off. Silva moves out of range as Bear strikes. Bear misses with a combination
and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bear blocks a low kick nicely. Silva throws a head kick that misses. Silva keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Bear looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bear gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Silva. Bear fails in his attempt to clinch. Silva gets a takedown into half guard. Silva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ground and pound from Silva. Silva trying to control from half guard but Bear is working away. Bear wants to get back to full guard but Silva has passed into side control. Silva happy to just control the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bear is trying to work for a sweep but Silva has mounted him! Silva with good strikes from the mount here!
Jer Bear's cut is getting worse. Bear takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jer Bear's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Daniel Silva! An out of breath Daniel Silva thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
