Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Stapleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stapleton comes to the cage accompanied by Stick To Your Guns - Against Them All. Freedom has chosen Johnny Freedom as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnny Freedom was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Freedom ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stapleton ducks under a wild hook from Freedom.
Stapleton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stapleton pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Freedom moves out of range as Stapleton strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stapleton. Freedom does a little dance to reset his feet.
Stapleton lands a really nice looking cross but Freedom seems unphased.
It looks like Johnny Freedom has been cut.

Stapleton looks to land a left hand but Freedom moved out of range nicely.

Stapleton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Freedom missing with a left hand there. Stapleton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Freedom counters with a thumping low kick.
Stapleton throws a hook but Freedom blocks it.
Good leg kick by Freedom there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Freedom tests Stapleton's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stapleton takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stapleton throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Freedom lets loose with a powerful body kick. Stapleton will feel that in the morning.
An inside leg kick lands from Freedom.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Freedom has managed to clinch.
Freedom lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Stapleton backwards.
Stapleton drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Freedom lands a body shot in the clinch.
Stapleton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Stapleton is trying to push Freedom away but Freedom has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Stapleton is trying to force a seperation but Freedom has the dominant position.

Stapleton wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Stapleton blocks an elbow strike.
A short body shot lands from Freedom as the two fighters clinch.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Freedom.
Freedom working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Freedom lands with a left to the head.
Freedom digs a right hand into Stapleton's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Stapleton's gas tank.
Freedom lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Stapleton backwards.

Freedom lands a good knee to the midsection. Stapleton won't want to take too many of those.
Freedom can't find room to land a body shot as Stapleton controls the action.

Oh Stapleton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Freedom lands a big knee! That's hurt Stapleton! Oh, he's all over the place! Freedom lands another knee that sends Stapleton to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Johnny Freedom really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Spartan Nutrition 160Q with Proof logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
