Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calvin Jones has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Calvin Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Zero! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zero keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Zero looking for submissions off his back. Zero blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jones. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Zero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zero looking for submissions off his back. Jones is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Zero is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard.

Jones wants to pass to mount but Zero is defending the position. Zero is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Zero looking for submissions off his back.

Zero looks winded! Zero has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jones is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Zero. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! You can see the frustration on Zero's face as Jones controls the position. Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zero as he avoids it easily. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zero can do to turn this around? Zero keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jones is taking a breather. Zero says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zero for as long as he can get away with. Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zero doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones.
