Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Mckee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Teller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Christian Mckee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackson Teller!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckee shoots in for a takedown but Teller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Teller throws a nice looking combination but Mckee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Teller.
Mckee wants to control but Teller postures up.
Teller controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
An elbow from Teller crashes against the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mckee gets back to half guard.
Mckee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Teller can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mckee throws a big right hand that misses.
Teller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Teller isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mckee stacks Teller on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mckee!
Teller wants to get back to his feet.
Teller is trying to control Mckee's posture but Mckee avoids it.
Teller looks to move to half guard but instead Mckee has passed into mount! Damn!

Mckee is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Teller tries to land a front kick but Mckee steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Mckee doesn't manage to clinch there - Teller circles away.
Teller swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Teller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mckee sprawls well initially but Teller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Teller stalling away here and it's allowed Mckee to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Mckee wants to sweep but no luck.

Mckee is looking for a triangle but Teller pushes his legs off easily.
Teller trying to control but Mckee is working from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Teller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Teller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Teller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Teller wanted to stand there but Mckee had control of the position.
Mckee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mckee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Teller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Teller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mckee looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Teller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mckee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Teller is stalling in the full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Teller drives through with a takedown into guard.
Teller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Teller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mckee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Teller has managed to get both his arms back between Mckee's legs - danger averted.

Teller trying to control the position from guard on top but Mckee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Teller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mckee is keeping the position for now.
Teller throws an elbow that misses. Mckee uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Teller's guard. Nice move by Mckee!

Teller wants to sweep here but Mckee controlling him for the moment.

Mckee drops back looking for a leg! Teller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Teller manages to kick Mckee off! Mckee jumps back into Teller's guard.
Mckee wants to control from the top but Teller keeps moving.
Mckee passes Teller's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Teller wants to improve his position but Mckee is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Teller is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Teller is looking for a sweep. Mckee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Teller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mckee.

Mckee is looking for a kimura but Teller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mckee to get the leverage.
Teller is trying to control but can't.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Teller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mckee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Teller wants to get back to full guard but Mckee has passed into side control.

Mckee stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Teller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Teller feints and as Mckee raises his hands in defense, Teller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson Teller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Mckee misses with a body shot.
Jackson Teller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Teller tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson Teller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Teller. Mckee does a little dance to reset his feet.
A quick step to the side and Mckee tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Teller misses with a few strikes there.
Teller misses with a head kick.
Teller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mckee scores with a jab. Teller acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mckee cracks Teller with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mckee lands with an uppercut that bounces Teller off the cage and back into range.

Teller feints and as Mckee raises his hands in defense, Teller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mckee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Teller's guard.

Jackson Teller has got the better of the ground game so far.
Teller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Teller keeping moving, preventing Mckee from controlling successfully.
Teller wants to hit a switch here but Mckee passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Teller there!
Teller is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Mckee wants to finish this one by submission but Teller is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mckee.
Teller is squirming around, avoiding Mckee's attempts to control the action.

Mckee controlling the pace for now.
Teller tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Teller wants to hold on but Mckee pushes him away.

Mckee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Teller to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Teller shrugs it off.
Teller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Mckee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Teller is looking to escape.
Teller is looking to improve his position but Mckee isn't that keen on the idea.
Teller is squirming around, avoiding Mckee's attempts to control the action.
Teller is desperately trying to improve his position but Mckee has a good base and remains in mount.
Teller has given up his back here.

Christian Mckee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jackson Teller is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
