The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Larsson tries to sprawl but Shore drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Shore frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Shore jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Larsson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Larsson and Shore has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Shore thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Shore in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Shore misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Larsson tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shore wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Larsson, who protects the arm well.
Larsson can't do much from the bottom here.

Shore is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Larsson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Shore cracks Larsson with a big right hand but Larsson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Larsson wants to control but Shore postures up.

Shore thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Larsson is trying to control Shore's posture but Shore avoids it.
Shore cracks Larsson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shore working away.
Shore working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The strikes coming from Shore are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Shore lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Shore has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Larsson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Shore yanks on the arm and Larsson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Shore.
