Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Shojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eye HumpBees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eye HumpBees will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Shojo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eye HumpBees! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shojo moves away from the strike by HumpBees. That kick from Shojo tenderised HumpBees's leg. HumpBees is trying to keep his angry face on. Shojo moves into the clinch. Shojo utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. HumpBees gets underhooks to prevent Shojo's takedown attempt.

HumpBees regains full guard. Nicely done. Shojo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shojo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! HumpBees is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shojo, into his guard. HumpBees working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shojo has gone for a leg lock! HumpBees slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shojo's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as HumpBees accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! HumpBees stops Shojo from standing up. HumpBees showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

HumpBees looking to sit in guard and control but Shojo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. HumpBees manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shojo manages to get himself to full guard.
HumpBees postures up and lands a big shot to Shojo's brow. Yuki Shojo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Shojo wants to get back to his feet but HumpBees is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. HumpBees is looking to stand up but Shojo won't let him. HumpBees postures up in Shojo's guard and throws a big left but Shojo blocks it. HumpBees wants to control from the top but Shojo keeps moving. Shojo wants to stand and escape but HumpBees is having none of it. Shojo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shojo tries to get out of the position. HumpBees seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Shojo pushes HumpBees off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Shojo tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Shojo clinches with his opponent.

Shojo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag HumpBees down to the mat. HumpBees avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That kick from Shojo tenderised HumpBees's leg. HumpBees is trying to keep his angry face on. Shojo fails in his attempt to clinch. A nice inside leg kick there by Shojo. That's going to slow HumpBees down. Shojo throws a nice inside leg kick. Shojo staying out of range there. HumpBees throws a looping overhand right but Shojo ducks down to avoid it. HumpBees connects with a nice looking jab.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yuki Shojo. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shojo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
