The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ligurno staying out of range there.
Beltzer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Beltzer pulls guard effortlessly.
Beltzer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ligurno doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ligurno manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beltzer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Beltzer seems to be looking for submissions.
Ligurno wants to get back to full guard.

Ligurno wants to control but Beltzer is keeping busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beltzer blocks the strikes from Ligurno.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Beltzer is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Ligurno is hurt! He's hurt bad - Beltzer fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Ligurno from any more punishment! Congratulations to Beltzer! Great finish!
