Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Bunker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arnold Palmer! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bunker on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. We've been told by Bunker's head coaches at LOD: Xtreme MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Palmer throws a looping overhand right but Bunker ducks down to avoid it. Palmer swinging wildly here.
Palmer loads up on a big right hand but Bunker slips the punch. Palmer looks to land a left hand but Bunker moved out of range nicely. Palmer takes a swing at Bunker's ribcage but misses. Bunker appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Palmer throws a body shot but no joy. Bunker wants to slow Palmer down by chopping away at his legs. Palmer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sloppy strikes from Palmer. Those never looked like landing. Palmer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bunker was well out of range. Poor timing from Palmer. Bunker lands with a thumping leg kick.

Bunker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Palmer misses with a straight right. A thudding body kick lands there by Bunker!
Bunker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Palmer jabs Bunker to the body, keeping him at a distance. Palmer walks into a straight right hand from Bunker. Bunker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Palmer misses the shot to the body. As Palmer looks to move away, Bunker throws a big counter combo but Palmer just gets out of the way.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmer jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bunker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bunker sets himself, and Palmer steps forward looking for the clinch! Bunker avoids it this time. Bunker lands a jab. Bunker stuns Palmer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bunker lands with a nice body kick. Bunker misses with an attempted mid kick.

Palmer wants to counter with a clinch but Bunker pushes him away. Palmer tries to clinch but Bunker moves out of range. Bunker was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Palmer throws an off balance right hand
and Bunker counters with a stiff right hand. A head kick misses from Bunker. Palmer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bunker manages to avoid it. Bunker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Palmer throws out the jab. Palmer moves to clinch but Bunker breaks away and Bunker counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Palmer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bunker is looking to counter with head kicks. Palmer ducks under a wild hook from Bunker. Bunker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Palmer moves away. Bunker swings for the body but Palmer moves out of range.
Bunker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Palmer. Bunker lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Palmer fails to land with a series of punches.
Bunker misses the shot to the body. Palmer misses the shot to the body. Palmer lands a jab. Bunker lands a nice looking kick to the body. Palmer takes a step back to recover. Bunker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Palmer throws a shot from downtown. Bunker moves away and avoids it. Bunker is looking to counter with head kicks. Palmer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bunker counters with a good, hard body kick but Palmer shrugs it off. Bunker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Bunker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bunker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Bunker throws out a loose jab but Palmer uses good head movement to avoid it. Palmer missing with a left hand there. Bunker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Palmer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Bunker working aggressively here.
Palmer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Palmer lands a nice uppercut. A nice left hand lands by Bunker.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Palmer. Bunker fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Bunker misses with a hook from the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Palmer throws a punch but it's blocked by Bunker. Palmer throws a head punch that misses. Bunker working aggressively here.

Palmer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tony Bunker will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bunker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Palmer wants to clinch up but Bunker keeps it at a distance. Arnold Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Palmer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bunker. Palmer clinches up against the ropes. Palmer blocks an uppercut.

Bunker has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Bunker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Palmer was well out of range. Poor timing from Bunker. Arnold Palmer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Palmer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bunker.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Palmer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bunker can pounce on him.
Palmer lands a nice hook to Bunker's body. Bunker takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Palmer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bunker counters with a lovely shot to the body. Palmer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bunker counters with a solid body kick. Palmer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bunker. Palmer fails in his attempt to clinch. Bunker was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Palmer rushes Bunker and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Bunker pulls Palmer into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bunker is on top in guard.
Bunker controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Palmer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bunker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bunker stops Palmer from standing up. Bunker is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Bunker lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bunker passes Palmer's left leg - he's now in half guard. Palmer on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bunker lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Bunker keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bunker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Palmer taking some punishment here, with Bunker in his half guard. Bunker winds up and cracks Palmer with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bunker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bunker slips a nice elbow through Palmer's hands, connecting with Palmer's forehead.
Palmer is rocked! Bunker controlling the action here. Palmer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bunker scores with a couple of nice shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Bunker dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Palmer wants to counter with a clinch but Bunker pushes him away. Palmer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Palmer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bunker lands with a straight right. Palmer didn't see that one coming. Bunker avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bunker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Palmers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Palmer misses with a few strikes there.
Bunker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Palmer takes a kick to the side of the head. Palmer is still on wobbly legs! Can Bunker finish him? Palmer throws a jab when Bunker was well out of range. Bunker avoids the body shot from Palmer.
Palmer misses with a wild body shot. Palmer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bunker is pawing at Palmer, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Palmer's nose. Palmer is badly hurt! Bunker pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Palmer tries desperately to hold on but Bunker is relentless in his assault! As Palmer receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Bunker away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Bunker! An out of breath Tony Bunker thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
