Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikedmondson Edmondson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edmondson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Loli Mou. Souza has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmondson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Edmondson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Souza throws a counter combo.
Edmondson throws a head kick but Souza moves out of range.
Souza looks winded!
Souza takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A head kick misses from Edmondson.
Edmondson lands a big head kick that sends Souza tumbling to the mat! Edmondson takes a step backwards and waves Souza back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Souza is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Edmondson with a body shot.
Souza is still on wobbly legs! Can Edmondson finish him?

Souza seems to have recovered his senses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Souza has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Edmondson! Souza is out on his feet! Edmondson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Souza is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Souza is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikedmondson Edmondson!
