Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, scotty win! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Par Dough! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! win pushes Dough up against the cage in a clinch. win has Dough pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. win pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dough tumbling to the mat - win dives into Dough's guard. win has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. win postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. win trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dough looking to hit a scissor sweep but win is one step ahead there. Dough manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. win manages to get himself to full guard.
Dough trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dough can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. win throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dough connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Excellent takedown into side control there by win. Dough tries to bench press win off him but win keeps the position. win creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dough sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Dough is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked win off and has taken his back! win trying to survive by controlling the hands. You can see the frustration on win's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dough thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. win has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Dough. win tries to break free.
Dough wants to control but win is keeping busy. win rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
win is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dough not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. win checks the leg kick. win wants to clinch up but Dough keeps it at a distance. Dough throws a hook to the side of win's head but win sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. win scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. win thows a huge punch but Dough dodges it nicely.
