Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osvaldo Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Marston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez's entrance music is E-Dubble - Let Me Oh. A fine choice. Marston has chosen Bring it on motherfucker as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Osvaldo Gomez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Marston! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Marston.
It looks like Osvaldo Gomez has been cut. Osvaldo Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gomez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gomez tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Marston counter with a right hand. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gomez.
Marston has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gomez. Marston avoids the head kick by Gomez.
Marston misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gomez throws a leg kick enabling Marston to counter with a crisp jab. Gomez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gomez throws a leg kick and Marston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marston scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gomez doesn't seem bothered though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomez misses with a wild body shot. Marston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marston is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Gomez gets off balance looking for a body kick and Marston counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gomez is rocked! Gomez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Marston doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Gomez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marston was well out of range. Poor timing from Gomez. Marston appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Gomez misses with a head kick.
The fighters circling - Gomez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Marston lands a slapping body shot.
Marston checks a low kick from Gomez. Marston doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Gomez misses with a shot to the body and Marston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marston rushes Gomez with punches - Gomez moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gomez goes down! Marston follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Marston! Lucas Marston very nearly forgot to thank Sun-Tzu amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Osvaldo Gomez was interviewed post fight and said 'Win or lose he hits like a bitch'.
