Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otto Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Muis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muis has chosen Het Land Van as his entrance music. Kelvin Muis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Otto Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kelvin Muis!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kim throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Muis tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kim is in Muis's guard.
Muis is looking to stand up but Kim isn't so interested in that idea.
Kim lands a couple of elbows.
Kim stops Muis from standing up.
Kim landing some decent shots from guard.
Muis wants to stand and escape but Kim is having none of it.
Kim lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kim is controlling him.
Muis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kim is in close to Muis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Muis wants to stand and escape but Kim is having none of it.

Kim gets to his feet. Muis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kim was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Kim is looking to counter the offense by Muis and move into the clinch.

Kelvin Muis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Muis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kim is looking for a counter combo.

Kim drives through with a takedown into guard.
Muis is looking to stand back up but Kim counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Muis.

Muis is looking to get back to is feet but Kim passes into side control.
Muis takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Muis is looking to get back to his feet here but Kim is keeping cool and he's managed to take Muis's back.
Muis is trying to get back to his feet but Kim has full control of the position and if anything, Muis has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Kim lands with a hammerfist to the side of Muis's head.
Kim has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Muis.
Kim is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Muis up.

Kim gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Kim could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Muis is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Kim lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Kim. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Muis is rocked!
Kim has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Muis.
Muis is still in real trouble! Can Kim finish him?
A helpless look comes across Muis 's face. He knows he's trapped as Kim lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otto Kim!
