Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogan Aye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast slips under a jab.
The fighters circling - Beast throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Aye throws a half hearted mid kick.
Beast tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Aye is trying hard to land a takedown here. Beast sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Aye motions for Beast to come forward. Aye throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Aye throws a leg kick but Beast sees it coming and moves out of range.
Aye lands a lovely overhand right.
Beast scores with a jab to the jaw.
Aye bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Aye seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aye accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Aye wants to control from the top but Beast keeps moving.
Beast trying to keep a closed guard but Aye is proving a slippery customer.
Aye definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Aye postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Aye is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Beast throws a head kick but Aye moves out of range.
Aye tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Aye misses with a wild body shot.
Beast thuds a left hand into Aye's body.
Aye throws a nice inside leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Beast blocks the low kick.
Beast with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Aye to score with a decent uppercut.

and Aye counters with a nice double leg into side control. Beast won't be happy with that.
Beast explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aye tries to work over Beast's front leg with a kick but Beast checks it.

Beast cracks Aye with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Beast counters with a slapping leg kick.
Beast fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aye.
Aye scores with a hook to the body. Beast takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Beast lands with a nice body punch.
Aye tried to score with a low kick but Beast checks it.
A little jabbing left from Beast on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Beast throws a lazy right hand but Aye sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's time! Aye's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Beast throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aye.
Beast lunges at Aye with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Aye's hand.

Aye half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Aye drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Beast wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Beast has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beast wants to sweep but no luck.
Aye is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Beast is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Beast has escaped and now he's on top!

Aye had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beast defends it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Aye has control of Beast's left arm, preventing Beast from doing any damage.
Aye is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Beast defends well.
