Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andy Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myles O Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Donnell has chosen Anti by Mayhem as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Wilkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Myles O Donnell!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Donnell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wilkins.
Wilkins swings for the body but O Donnell moves out of range.

O Donnell connects with a body shot that sends Wilkins's belly button to the back.
Wilkins shoots in and drives through. O Donnell sprawls well.

Wilkins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wilkins showed some decent athleticism there.

O Donnell has one foot on Wilkins's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
O Donnell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wilkins sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wilkins scores with a sloppy right hand. O Donnell should have avoided that one.
O Donnell lands a head shot.

Wilkins shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

O Donnell is trying to maintain the position but Wilkins is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
O Donnell wants to control but Wilkins is keeping busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wilkins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. O Donnell did well to prevent Wilkins getting side control.
O Donnell tries to get to full guard but Wilkins has control of the leg.

O Donnell is looking to control Wilkins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can O Donnell avoid being mounted?
Wilkins is taking a breather. O Donnell says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
O Donnell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Wilkins with a flurry of punches that miss.
Wilkins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Wilkins wants to control from the top but O Donnell keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wilkins fails with a takedown attempt.
O Donnell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Wilkins scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
O Donnell can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilkins working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Myles O Donnell will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Wilkins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from O Donnell.
Wilkins changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
O Donnell tests Wilkins's chin there with a solid looking shot.
O Donnell pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wilkins drops down looking for a counter takedown but O Donnell sprawls and moves away.

Wilkins misses the shot to the body.
O Donnell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wilkins.

and O Donnell counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Wilkins goes for a takedown attempt but O Donnell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wilkins shoots in but no luck this time.
O Donnell tries to counter with a clinch but Wilkins shakes him off and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Wilkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilkins.

O Donnell clinches up with Wilkins and pushes him back against the cage.

Wilkins is trying to work for a single leg takedown but O Donnell pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Wilkins has dropped down and is working for a takedown. O Donnell is trying to keep an underhook but Wilkins manages to get the takedown into half guard.
O Donnell makes his way to full guard. A much better position for O Donnell.

Wilkins is fighting to break O Donnell's control of his arms but O Donnell is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
O Donnell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Wilkins misses with a few strikes there.
O Donnell is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wilkins with a body shot.
Wilkins missing with a left hand there. O Donnell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
O Donnell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wilkins sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Wilkins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilkins wants to take a breather but O Donnell manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Wilkins.

O Donnell manages to escape and get back to his feet.

O Donnell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wilkins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wilkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has O Donnell pinned against the cage. O Donnell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
O Donnell looks to score with a jab to the body but Wilkins is just out of range.
O Donnell leaves Wilkins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wilkins throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent O Donnell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wilkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says O Donnell as he avoids it easily.

Wilkins fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Myles O Donnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilkins closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wilkins lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Myles O Donnell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
O Donnell misses with a double jab.
O Donnell scores with a punch to the head.
O Donnell tried to score with a low kick but Wilkins checks it.
Wilkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. O Donnell tries to avoid it but Wilkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag O Donnell to the ground. O Donnell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wilkins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from O Donnell.
A little jabbing left from O Donnell on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
O Donnell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wilkins. Wilkins circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Wilkins is rocked!
O Donnell fakes the body blow, causing Wilkins to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Wilkins goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Myles O Donnell!
Myles O Donnell decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
