Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Henry Bonney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Three Little Birds kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Henry Bonney!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Vos!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonney feints and then cracks Vos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vos down.
Bonney moves into range and connects with a jab.
Vos fails with a takedown attempt.
A shot to the body from Bonney misses
and Bonney takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vos dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
An inside leg kick from Bonney misses.
Bonney misses with a double jab.
Vos changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bonney walks into a left hand.
Bonney throws a head kick that misses.

Bonney uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vos.

Jake Vos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bonney closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Vos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bonney moves away.
Vos cracks Bonney with a good jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Vos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Vos throws a hook to the side of Bonney's head but Bonney sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
As Vos backs away, Bonney returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
We've been told by Bonney's head coaches at Mist Of Pandaria that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bonney takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Vos changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bonney misses the shot to the body.
Vos is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Vos throws a body punch but Bonney moves out of range.
Bonney fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vos has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close round but I would say that William Henry Bonney will probably get the nod.

Vos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bonney as he jumps to the side.

Bonney went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Bonney lands a big head kick that sends Vos tumbling to the mat! Bonney takes a step backwards and waves Vos back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Vos is rocked!
Bonney fakes the body blow, causing Vos to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Vos goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

As William Henry Bonney got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Norman, I told you I would make you famous! But unfortunately for you it means I took your belt! Broken Halo Pride!'.
