Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roger Cantor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Can't Be Touched as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Cantor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Corey Davis! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Davis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cantor sees it coming and avoids it easily. Davis throws a body punch but Cantor moves out of range. Cantor's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Cantor duly obliges. Davis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cantor changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A low kick from Davis is predictable there and Cantor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Cantor throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cantor throwing strikes from guard but Davis blocks nicely. Cantor with a flurry of punches that miss. Davis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cantor. Davis wants to sweep here but Cantor controlling him for the moment. Davis keeping moving, preventing Cantor from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cantor lands a couple of decent looking shots. Cantor trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Davis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cantor. Cantor wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. Cantor controls from within his opponent's guard. Cantor's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Davis swings away with a body shot that misses
and Davis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cantor throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Davis misses with a body kick. Davis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cantor. Cantor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Davis. Cantor was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Davis misses with a few strikes there.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Davis. Davis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Davis throws a good cross that connects.
Davis throws a body shot but no joy. Cantor checks the leg kick. Davis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Davis lands a jab. Cantor fails with a takedown attempt. Davis looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cantor looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Davis managing to control the position. Davis keeping full guard, as Cantor tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cantor content to stall in guard here. Cantor tries to free his leg and advance position but Davis is retaining full guard. Davis wants to get back to his feet but Cantor is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Cantor looking to sit in guard and control but Davis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Davis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cantor is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cantor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Davis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Davis is looking to reverse the position. Cantor trying to control the position but Davis is working away. An elbow from Cantor crashes against the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis parries the strikes from Cantor easily there. Cantor is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Davis to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cantor trying to control the position but Davis is working away. Davis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cantor trying to control the action but Davis is working from the bottom. An elbow from Cantor crashes against the mat.
Cantor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davis keeps working. Davis trying to remain calm as Cantor controls from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cantor working the strikes but Davis uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Davis wants to control but Cantor is keeping busy.
Cantor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Good exchange - Cantor coming out on top. Cantor uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davis. Davis tests Cantor's chin there with a solid looking shot. Davis swings and misses with a shot to the body and Davis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cantor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Davis is controlling Cantor's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cantor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davis is keeping the position for now. Davis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Davis being controlled here, momentarily. Davis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cantor looking to sit in guard and control but Davis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Davis advances position into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cantor is looking to reverse the position. Cantor tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Davis presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Davis wants to control the pace but Cantor is squirming around nicely. Cantor tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Roger Cantor will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Cantor jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cantor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Davis's head. Davis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cantor. Davis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cantor manages to avoid it. Davis connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Cantor avoids the head kick by Davis.
Cantor half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Cantor checks a leg kick. Davis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A lazy left from Cantor finds it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A solid leg kick lands there for Davis.
Cantor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cantor somewhat. Corey Davis seems to be getting the better of the standup. Davis throws a low kick, looking for Cantor's leg but Cantor calmly moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cantor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davis swivels and escapes. A nice side step and Davis releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. A slapping leg kick lands for Davis.
Cantor takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cantor throws a hook to the side of Davis's head but Davis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Davis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cantor has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Horrible takedown attempt by Cantor or perhaps it was just good defense by Davis, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Cantor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cantor walks into a jab. Roger Cantor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Davis cracks Cantor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Davis scores with a punch to the head. Davis takes a swing at Cantor's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Davis has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. A nice combination there by Cantor.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cantor avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Davis misses with a low kick.
Davis throws a body punch but Cantor moves out of range. Davis scores with a jab. Cantor acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Davis works the jab nicely. Davis moves into range and connects with a jab. Davis scores with a slapping inside leg kick. A slow jab from Cantor misses its intended target. Davis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cantor. Davis let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Davis throws a series of strikes that have Cantor backpedaling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck for Cantor with that takedown attempt. Davis moves away from the strike by Cantor. Cantor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis. Corey Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davis clobbers Cantor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Davis throws a leg kick but Cantor sees it coming and moves out of range. Cantor moves out of range as Davis strikes. Davis throws the left hand but Cantor avoids the punch easily. Cantor slips under a jab. Davis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Cantor or perhaps it was just good defense by Davis, which made it look bad. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Davis! But no joy. Davis lands with a good body shot. Davis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A big left from Cantor misses. Cantor moves out of range as Davis strikes. Davis throws a wild body kick that Cantor sees coming a mile off. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Davis takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Davis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cantor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Davis sprawls well initially but Cantor persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Cantor is looking to advance position but Davis won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Corey Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Davis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
