Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Harry Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Core!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Core shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Harrison napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Core goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Harrison rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Core's guard! Nice work there by Harrison!
Harrison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Core has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harrison can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Harrison prevents Core from getting back to his feet.
Core is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Harrison distracts Core with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harrison in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Harrison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harrison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Harrison postures up in Core's guard and throws a big left but Core blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Core looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harrison is one step ahead there.
Core throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Harrison is fighting to break Core's control of his arms but Core is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Harrison wants to get up but he can't break Core's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Harrison avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Harrison throws a big elbow that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Core looking to control.
Harrison is looking to work some ground and pound but Core has wrist control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Core looking to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Core gets a double leg takedown into Harrison's guard.
Core showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harrison looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Core puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Core wants to pass the guard but Harrison is defending well.
Core is thwarting Harrison's attempts to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harrison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Core is taking a breather. Harrison says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Core looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Core is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Harrison defends it well.

Harrison is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Core pulls his head out easily.
Harrison tries to get to full guard but Core has control of the leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Core controlling the action here.
Core looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Harrison is trying to get back to full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Harrison slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Harry Harrison will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harrison.

Core closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Harrison is trying to get back to full guard.
Core perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Core is nestled in close to Harrison, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harrison is looking to improve his position.
Core tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harrison knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Core slows the pace down in half guard.
Harrison really is a fat lump.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Core connects with a nice short shot to Harrison's temple.
Harrison is not content to let Core control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harrison is trying to get back to full guard.
Harrison is trying to stand back up but Core is controlling him
Harrison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Harrison is working hard here to advance position.
Core tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Harrison.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Core sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Core scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Harrison throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Core manages to pass to side control.
Core trying to control the position but Harrison is working away.
Harrison is looking to reverse the position.
Harrison looks to move to half guard but instead Core has passed into mount! Damn!
Harrison wants to hold on but Core pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Core tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Harrison is in all sorts of trouble here.
Core content just to control the position here.
Harrison bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Core is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Core is looking to cinch up a triangle. Harrison throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Core's body to avoid the submission. Core has instead reached around Harrison's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Core arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jack Core!
