Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drake Macon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Cro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drake Macon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mirko Cro! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macon gets a clinch. Cro wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cro breaks the clinch.
Cro misses with an attempted mid kick.
Macon clinches. Cro throws an elbow but it misses.
Macon tries to land knees in the clinch but Cro avoids the damage to the body. Cro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice body kick from Cro. The fight stays on the outside here - Cro looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Macon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A jab lands there for Macon. Macon moves into the clinch successfully.
Cro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Macon but Macon pushes him off and we're back to square one. Macon moves into the clinch. Cro breaks the clinch.
Macon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Cro wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Macon has him pressed against the cage. Cro throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Macon dodges the punch combination from Cro.
Macon looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Macon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cro, pushing him back against the cage. Cro wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Cro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Macon circles away. Cro doesn't succeed with the takedown and Macon counters with a single leg into guard. Cro didn't expect that. Drake Macon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Cro. Cro looks gassed! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Macon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Macon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cro is proving hard to escape from. Macon trying to control but Cro is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Macon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Cro wants to get back to his feet but Macon is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Macon moves into the clinch successfully.
Cro tries to break the clinch but Macon is controlling the position. Cro wants to get back to striking at distance but Macon won't allow it.
Macon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Cro wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Macon has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cro is trying to break free. Macon goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cro prevents it.
Macon lands a shot to the body. Macon slows down the pace here.
Cro has Macon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Macon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Macon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cro tries to land a body kick and Macon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Macon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Cro pulls Macon in close to prevent any damage. Cro working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cro wants to sweep but no luck. Cro is looking for a triangle but Macon pushes his legs off easily.
Cro tries to land a sweep but no joy. Macon tries to stand but Cro is controlling from the bottom. Cro wants to sweep here but Macon controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cro is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Macon is looking to stand up but Cro isn't so interested in that idea. Cro is fighting to break Macon's control of his arms but Macon is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drake Macon dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Macon throws a head kick but Cro moves out of range.
Mirko Cro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cro misses with a body kick. Cro gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Macon looking to sit in guard and control but Cro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cro looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Macon is controlling Cro's posture. Cro won't allow Macon to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macon thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Macon throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Macon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Cro is keen to just control but Macon is a slippery customer. Macon wants to get back to full guard. Macon trying to control but Cro postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fight moves into the clinch position. The is referee keeping an eye on Macon - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Cro throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Macon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cro! Macon looking to control but Cro is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Macon landing strikes from the mount.
It looks like Mirko Cro has been cut. Cro is trying desperately to improve position. Macon looking to control and managing it successfully. Cro working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cro is squirming around, avoiding Macon's attempts to control the action. Cro wants to control but Macon is having none of it. Macon content just to control the position here. Macon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Macon working Cro over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drake Macon dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mirko Cro's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Cro darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Cro is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Macon is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Macon trying to control from the bottom.
Macon looking for submissions off his back. Drake Macon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cro sitting and controlling from the half guard. Cro takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Macon manages to get to full guard.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Drake Macon just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Cro cracks the inside of Macon's front leg.

Macon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cro is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Macon controlling from the full mount. Macon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cro turns into him and now he's in Macon's guard.
Cro pushes down on Macon's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Cro with a flurry of punches that miss. Macon wants to stand and escape but Cro is having none of it. Macon pulls Cro in close to prevent any damage. Macon has a closed guard, preventing Cro from standing up. Cro stopping the sweep attempt from Macon. Mirko Cro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Macon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cro manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mirko Cro. I think Macon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
