Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Byford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stone Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donnie Byford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stone Ripper! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ripper leaves Byford with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ripper steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Byford. Byford on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Ripper misses with a body kick. Donnie Byford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ripper closes the distance and pushes Byford back into the cage. Byford has had enough of the clinch but Ripper keeps him there for the moment. Ripper with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Ripper prevents a takedown attempt there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ripper just leaning against Byford, taking a breather. Byford working hard to break the clinch. Byford is trying to force a seperation but Ripper has the dominant position. With the fighters up against the cage, Ripper throws an elbow but misses.

And that's the end of the fight! Stone Ripper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ripper has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
