Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tempe Ansonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Springs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Springs displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ansonen throws out the jab.
Ansonen moves out of range of the body kick from Springs.
Ansonen misses with a lunging right hand
and Springs counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Tempe Ansonen has been cut.
Springs throws a lazy uppercut
and Ansonen counters with a stiff right hand.
Springs swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Springs misses with a double jab.
Springs ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Springs just misses with a punch to the body.
Ansonen blocks a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Springs lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ansonen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Springs.
Ansonen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ansonen blocks a jab.
Ansonen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Springs throws a right and a left that Ansonen avoids nicely.

Springs dips to his left and cracks Ansonen with an uppercut!
Ansonen get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Ansonen stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Springs runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

After the fight, Randy Springs was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
